Our moving consultants will provide you with a free written quote for all services along with a detailed inventory of goods to be relocated as well as a moving schedule, including confirmation of dates for all services selected.
Packing
One of the most important determinants of a successful move is the quality of the packing. At Aussiemove, we pride ourselves on the way in which we prepare your goods for transit. Our dedicated packing staff are highly trained and use only the best available packing materials.
Naturally our service goes well beyond packing cartons, our team also carryout pre-move preparation of your furniture and other cherished items ensuring they can be moved safely.
Our range of packing materials is extensive and includes specialised cartons as well as a complete range of wrapping materials. Thinking of doing some packing yourself ? Storage
You may not wish to take all of your belongings with you to your new home. This could be for any number of reasons: a temporary interstate or international posting, a smaller property or the need to move out of your current home before your new home is ready. We take just as much care with your stored items as we do with those that we move. With Aussiemove and AMG Storehouses, you can rest assured that your valued belongings will be kept safely in the best possible condition until you next require them.
All storage consignments are carefully packed into special storage modules, sealed and stored in one of our custom designed storage facilities. These storage modules and warehouses are clean, dry and secure and a full inventory of your possessions is always provided.
On the day of uplift, all items for storage are carefully catalogued and securely labeled prior to being loaded. Special items such as billiard tables, pianos or large works of art are stored separately in purpose built bays. Lounge suites and arm chairs are enclosed in sealed protective covers and stored separately.
Should you require access to particular items, this can be arranged easily with prior notice. Aussiemove are justifiably proud of our storage facilities and inspections are welcomed.

Insurance
Household belongings are usually insured through a home contents policy, which is based on a low risk situation. However, such policies generally do not apply to goods in transit.
Our moving consultants and coordinators are ASIC accredited representatives of our licensed insurance broker. They are qualified to provide you with factual insurance information on our insurance product, which has been specifically designed to protect your goods during transit and/or storage in our warehouses both with Australia and Internationally.
We will provide you with a product disclosure statement outlining the basis of our policy and we strongly recommend you read this document. To give you peace of mind, Aussiemove recommends that you take out transit insurance during the move and also for any period during which your goods are stored.

In the event of loss or damage to insured items, please complete the downloadable Claim Form and return to an Aussiemove office where our claims officer will manage the claim as expediently as possible.

Additional Services
Valet Unpacking Service
Unpacking and setting up your new home is usually not an easy task, often causing stress and strain for those involved. Our valet service is the perfect solution, enabling you to get on with more important things by helping to quickly re-establish the home environment. Aussiemove can provide trained and professional valet assistants to unpack the cartons, clean your belongings and place them into freshly wiped cupboards. Beds are made with fresh linen, books arranged onto bookshelves and crystal and silverware sensibly sorted into buffets and wall units.
House Cleaning
Once the moving truck is loaded ready to drive to your new premises, one of the last things you want to have to do is clean the empty house. Aussiemove can arrange a full house clean, including windows, ovens and carpets. This can even be timed to commence as the last items are being moved out for maximum convenience. We can even have your new home cleaned prior to your arrival.
Motor vehicle & Trailer Transportation
Aussiemove can arrange full door to door transportation of your car or motorbike. We can also relocate your boat, caravan & trailer.
Pet Transportation
Like most of us, the Aussiemove team are also attached to our pets. We have developed long standing relationships with Australia’s most trusted pet transporters and are very comfortable with the way these passionate people treat our animals.
